Rooted in craft.

01Project overview

An identity study for a clothing brand rooted in intricate embroidery and traditional dress. A sculpted monogram, gold details and warm colour bring the character of the garments into the brand signature.

A signature shaped
by the craft it carries.

02The identity

A four-part monogram gives the identity its distinctive form. Gold on textured white and cream on rust explore two expressions of the same mark, paired with the Tanaksh wordmark and its signature, Ethnically yours.

From the garment
to its final detail.

03The finishing details

Garment tags, cord and paper carry the identity beyond the logo. The application studies place the mark alongside embroidered textiles, connecting the brand to the pieces it presents.

04Identity explorations

From sculpted and floral emblems to circular monograms and a parrot in bloom, four creative directions explore the character of Tanaksh. Each story brings the mark, its construction and its applications together.

Direction 01 / 04

The sculpted monogram

The first direction develops the four-part mark through gold, rust and cream. Portraiture, carved architecture and the construction study place the signature within a world of traditional dress and intricate craft.

Direction 02 / 04

A floral expression

A fine floral emblem introduces a softer expression of the brand. Gold lettering, red flowers and pale green textiles connect the identity to embroidered garments, before carrying it into tags and the storefront.

Direction 03 / 04

The circular signature

A circular gold monogram gives the third direction its character. Soft pink, floral imagery and quiet lettering carry the same form from the identity study to a woven label, garment tags and stationery.

Direction 04 / 04

A parrot in bloom

The final direction combines a parrot and a flower in a finely drawn gold emblem. A deep blue ground gives the identity contrast, while boutique imagery and signage explore how it appears in a retail setting.
